About the Painting Studio

This is above the Pottery in
spacious well-lit rooms overlooking splendid countryside with
the Teme Valley to the south and the Clee Hills to the north.
We are well equipped with folding easels, seats and drawing
boards. Paper will be available for your use up to a maximum
of Five sheets per week. You may bring canvases, paper sketchbooks,
pencils, palette and brushes, linseed oil, turps and rags.

We suggest the colours
you should bring are cadmium red, cadmium yellow, ultramarine
blue, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, burnt umber, titanium white
and ivory black.

You will be able to but a
range of basic materials in the studio shop, at a reduced
price.
